This project is based on Open Source packages like OpenNMS or Nagios to design a complete NMS system which is user-friendly and easy to install with maximum OS compatibility and a modular design. The end product would be a system which can be installed in a matter of few minutes and is ready to do its job almost immediately after deployment without much configuration unlike Open Source solutions. Also, since the software would be modular, the various modules should be optionally enabled or disabled during installation according to the respective licensing.
