Dramatic Legal Story focusing on a High Profile unlawful Pretrial Detention!
I've analyzed the case record of over 300 documents beginning Oct. 30 2017 to yesterday and drew some disturbing conclusions. Judge Amy Berman Jackson has consistently denied Paul Manafort pretrial release in his case even though a bail package was agreed to over 7 months ago that was supposed to end rigorous home confinement. Instead as of June 15 Manafort was jailed in a form of solitary confinement known innocuously as "pretrial detention". The story analyzes and exposes this fact and how it may effect the right of the accused to mount a defense, confront his accusers and otherwise circumvent the defendant's fair trial rights.
Key documents will be uploaded for analysis, article support and proof of theory from the lengthy record (some docs are attached). The Freelancer(s) will be provided with key proofs and points from this record showing how Manafort was wronged by the Judge, the prosecutors (the Office of Special Council including Weissman, Andres and Mueller) and possibly even his own Lawyers.
The Freelancer(s) task is to write a compelling story and provide some additional research about this injustice and possibly even come up with key insights of your own.
This story and possibly a series should get a lot of attention as the Manafort trials are scheduled to begin the end of this July and September (2018). Qualified writers and contributors will get linked credits.
