Purpose The device should provide connection to payment devices and vending equipment through MDB Master and MDB Slave interfaces. Additionally, the device should support the I2C interface for data retrieval and control.
Function Description The device should possess the following functions:
Connection to payment devices through the MDB Master interfaceConnection to vending equipment through the MDB Slave interfaceInteracting with vending equipment through the MDB Slave interface to receive and send commands and messagesData retrieval and control through the I2C interface
Requirements for MDB Master
The MDB Master module should support the MDB protocol version 4.0 or [login to view URL] MDB Master module should support the power-up protocol behavior for the MDB [login to view URL] MDB Master module should correctly process messages provided by the MDB protocol [login to view URL] and operating modes should be configured through I2C and saved in EEPROM.
Requirements for MDB Slave
The MDB Slave module should support the MDB protocol version 4.0 or [login to view URL] MDB Slave module should correctly process messages provided by the MDB protocol [login to view URL] and operating modes should be configured through I2C and saved in EEPROM.
Requirements for I2C Slave interface

Technical Requirements

Testing
