Job Details
we are currently using magento 1.9.3 and want to upgrade to magento 2.3 or latest.
what you have to do is.
1- Migrate all the data from our old magento to new,
2- Migrate all the theme and look like our existing website or better.
3- migrate all the extensions from old version to new.(we will provide magento 2 compatible extensions where ever the owner of extension has a magento2 version, or you have to modify or find alternative for magento 2)
4- install redis cache or varnish (which ever is better and faster) with full page cache system.
5- install Solr for search and configure it properly.
6- test everything again and again and provide support for few days after the site is completed in case of any issue.
7- it should perform super fast, mainly the add to cart and checkout process should not take more then few seconds.
8- clean css and javascript. so it can be a best performing site on internet.
so those are strict guidelines, we are going to spend money so we want to get best site ever.
1) it will need a recent backup of entire website including it's attachments
2) recent backup of database
3) A sub domain of that website to perform upgrade on test environment
so we can keep our site live, NO Downtime at all.
