Looking for Python Developer to debug Cython API

We have a Python API which uses Cython to wrap a Standard C API. This API is problematic, failing about 10% of the time and we don't know why. We need you to debug the code and figure out what the problem is. As this is an intermediate API, you will also need to understand at a basic level how the REST API works (written in Django) so that you can trouble shoot it
Required Technical Skills

- SSHing into machines (you need to work on AWS and be able to login to a bastion)
- Github
- Slack
- Sentry ([login to view URL])
- All text logs centralized to AWS Cloudwatch (easy dashboard interface)
Application workflow:
- Front end website
- Backend REST API
- Python API library
- Standard C API
-Backend C++ TCP socket server
Ideal candidate is someone who is good at debugging. You will need to compare the logs from the browser to the logs from Sentry (Python) to the logs from the engine (Cloudwatch) and solve the problem on your own.
Everything is done on AWS and environment is set up for you
