Florida licensed engineer to design cantilevered patio roof. 32' long, 9' deep, 9' tall. Prefer heavy wood posts, steel
C channel on top of posts. Cantilevered steel beams fixed inside C-channel.. very light roof material (e.g. steel sheet roofing). Calcs must account for Miami-Dade hurricane loads.
The location is in Miami, Florida, USA. So, the hurricane wind load must be considered in the design.
