We need an app that recognizes when the brightness of a position in a web camera field of view changes from light to dark. In its most simple form you might think of the camera set at one end of a closed box. At the opposite end there are three holes. When one of these holes is covered (i.e. it goes from light to dark in the camera view) the web camera is able to saydetermine which of the three holes it was. I believe this is possible by? capturing a high contrast image at regular intervals and comparing each to the previous. It is then a matter of determining where in the x, y gird the light has changed.
