The biggest problem with marketing is that the subtext of most ads is a tasteless 'WE WANT YOU TO BUY THIS'. This will be left to collect dust in the deep pit of unimportant brain clutter. Why aren't we making our customers ask 'why do I want this?', telling them why, and then making them think 'I need this!'? My writing doesn't shout at consumers but interacts with them.
