Good morning. I built a site with Xlinesoft PHPRunner where you can find the technical information you need for your work. Only members can access full, upon payment of a fee. I had thought of Paypal as my primary payment method. The payment form is ready and registers the operation on the Paypal portal (). The IPN notification settings are also configured to send the listener information but for some reason it doesn't reach it and nothing is logged to the local database which serves to unlock the member's status and thus to have full access. Hi there. I'm trying to get a custom php website (Smarty Template style) to work locally. We set the siteroot in a config file and have a which sets the db info. I can usually copy and transfer this site to a new host and set it up on a new domain in 5 minutes, but I cannot figure out how to get it to work locally. We have controllers, models, views folder, plus a file which helps assign controllers to certain front-end pages. I've been trying to install it locally using XAMPP, so I can simply use the site using Chrome, but I can't get it to work. I need to figure this out asap. Thanks!

I have a custom php website - similar to Smarty Templates and CodeIgniter - I can usually install it on other hosts in literally 5 minutes, but I want to install it locally on a LapTop (that I only have remote access to via AnyDesk), so that it can be accessed through the Chrome Browser like normal. The website is currently on a Linux VPS with WHM and CPanel and we can download the .sql file and a zip of the main folder pretty quickly directly to the Laptop (I'm actually about to start working on that part now). I need help setting it up locally, so it can all be accessed just like it was from the web. About how long will this take because I have to run a few errands soon? Thanks!
