I have several hours of video in mpeg-2 transport stream format (.m2t). These are directly ripped from NTSC digital cable in North America. The commercials/advertisements need to be removed. The editing has to be frame-accurate (on keyframes/GOP), and done without recompressing/reconversion. The resulting files should then be re-multiplexed for standard dvd-compliance (without recompression). Additionally, the videos need to be converted (without the ads) to a standard file-sharing xvid/avi format (including cropping and aspect ratio adjustment as needed).
