The batch encoder that comes with the Windows Media Encoder does not seem to be capable of transcoding MPEG-2 video files (ripped from DVDs). I would like fix for this or some other solution so that I can batch encode these .mpg files into .wmv according to a PAL profile that I will provide. I can also provide a sample video to work with so that if a solution can be found to batch encode this sample file with the specified profile, the job will be considered complete.
