I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. I will need to know the dimensions of the pcb(s), connectors type and positions, buttons, led(s) etc. Also is necessary to know if the components produce heating so the enclosure requires room for ventilation or airvents. The output file will be iges, stp, sat, x_t (parasolid) so any manufacturer will be able to create the molds. Alongside with the cad files will come 3d pdf and viewing files (dwg, dxf).
