We are an SEO firm based in Australia, seeking to hire a full-time writer (40hrs/week) to provide written articles for our clients.
You will be required to write articles on a regular basis on all sorts of topics, for our clients' websites and/or publication on the web to build link popularity.
From our perspective, we see this as being a regular ongoing position, hence we are keen to develop an ongoing relationship with someone who can work with us long-term and is keen to have a regular monthly contract with us for this work.
We will be strict on quality - if your written english skills do not meet our standards, we will NOT hire you, so please think carefully before you bid on this project...
We will supply a legal copy of the Instant Article Wizard software to assist you in the research process, which will speed up your productivity significantly.
If you are not familiar with this software, please go to their website <[login to view URL]> and read it entirely AND watch the demonstration video.
I believe it would be EASY to build the shell of an article in less than 10-15 mins with this software, and then you could take that shell and clean it up & flesh it out into a quality article in only another 10-20 mins max, which would give you a completed quality article in as little as 20-30 minutes.
I know from personal experience that the research part is always the most time consuming & painful, so this would really tackle that issue head-on and make it easy for you.
In addition to writing regular articles from scratch, we will also require you to rewrite articles, as supplied by our clients. This should speed up the process of creating new articles by leveraging the work they have already done.
## Deliverables
IMPORTANT: If English is NOT your primary language and your written english skills are not up to the standard of an educated person from countries like Australia, UK, USA, Canada, etc, you will ***NOT*** be awarded this project, so please save yourself the hassle and trouble if your english skills are poor.
=======================================
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Articles must be written in a PLAIN TEXT EDITOR (NOT Microsoft Word or similar). MS Notepad is preferred.
Every day, you would be required to email us your completed articles for the day, zipped up into one single file. Each article will be created and saved into an individual .txt file with the client name and article title included in the file name.
We will supply a sample for you to review once you get awarded the project.
Articles will not require formatting, just the normal paragraph breaks you would get when using the Enter key (carriage return).
The standard of written English MUST be high or articles will be returned for re-writing.
We will regularly supply a list of article topics we want you to write about. Ideally, we would prefer to give you the flexibility to write the articles about the topic in your own voice, while keeping on-topic.
**_Performance Standards Required_**
On a daily basis, we expect the following results:
16 articles per 8hr working day, whether rewrites or new articles. This equates to 2 articles per hour, which is **very possible** using Instant Article Wizard. At 40 hours of work a week, that means you will need to provide 80 articles per week.
Each article should be a minimum of 500 words, unless we specify otherwise (we are happy to negotiate up or down, based on special needs articles, and will adjust your daily total accordingly).
Please note that you would need to be disciplined and focussed in order to achieve these results every day. If you are not the sort of person who really does love to write, you may not be suitable for this project.
The 1st month, we will accept a lesser amount of articles (12 articles/day), while you are getting used to using Instant Article Wizard and what we want and how we work, but after that, we expect you to be up to speed with how we want things done, and meeting our daily target of 17 articles/day.
You will be given a list of our client sites and expected to review their entire site and get a feel for who they are and what they do. This will help you better write for them, and in time it should be second nature for you to write on-topic relevent articles for each client.
## Platform
Instant Article Wizard requires a computer running Windows 98 / ME / XP / 2000 / 2003 / Vista. The .NET Framework must be installed on your computer (it is by default on XP/2003/Vista). If you don't have it installed, there is a free download of it on the Microsoft website. We can supply the link as required.
You must confirm in your bid whether your computer meets these minimum specifications or not.
If your PC does NOT meet these specifications, you will either need to upgrade it, or we will not be able to hire you.
Articles to be written in Windows Notepad and submitted to us in .txt format ONLY.
**NO**, repeat **NO** Microsoft Word documents!!!
Please include links to samples of your previous articles, or attach some current samples.
NO project will be awarded without samples of your article writing being supplied.
