Research and data collection from 500 municipality websites in Switzerland (German speaking region)

** Invite only project - please do not bid unless you are invited! ** Hi freelancers! We are a Swiss company, looking for a reliable, German-speaking freelancer to work on a data collection project. Your Task: We will provide a list of 500 municipalities (“Gemeinden”) in the German speaking regions of Switzerland. For each one, we want you to find a link to the official waste collection calendar (“Abfallkalender”) on the municipality’s website. You must first search to find the relevant page on the municipality’s website: In many cases we will provide existing links to follow as a starting point, but sometimes you will need to use a Google search and/or explore the website to find the data. Then you use our web-based tool which provides you an interface where you can save the links you find. Often the municipalities also publish a few (e.g. between 1 and 4) additional related files containing supporting information (e.g. recycling guidelines), which we would also like to collect in the same way. We will provide full documentation and additional support for this process. In our experience, the average time taken to complete this for one municipality is around four minutes, so this project should take no longer than 33 hours. We are ready to start, and we would like the work completed by Monday 28 Jan 2019. Skills: - Very good English (reading/writing) and German (reading) skills - Ability to maintain high quality results when performing a repetitive task - Good computer literacy and IT experience - High attention to detail - Experience in, or knowledge of Switzerland would be desirable
