Hi, I provide a podcast editing and mixing service. I can edit your recordings, removing mistakes, repetitions, hesitations, long pauses, as well as apply noise reduction processing to clean-up the audio. I can apply EQ, compression and levelling to enhance the audio and improve it's consistency. I can mix in supplied music, intro, outro, transitions and commercial placements, and master the final mix to iTunes specifications for you. My rate is $30/hr and my editing ratio is on average 3:1, meaning it takes me 3 minutes to edit one minute of raw audio. So for example, a 30 minute recording would take 1.5 hours to edit and mix, and my fee would be $45. For examples of my work please check out my profile. Hi!, My name is Luis Contreras!, I am an Audio Engineer with 17+ years of experience Composing, Recording and Mixing Music. I know pretty well the kind of task that have to be done with your recordings as I am always recording and cleaning dialogs for the documentaries on which I also compose the music. I am the kind of Audio Engineer that aims for the best results without compromising the overall quality of the raw material. From my experience is not that much about noise reduction most of the time, but to aim for the best "signal to noise ratio" whenever possible (of course at the end of the day it all depends on the nature of the material). But certainly I am always looking to have a good rhythm on my editing, a nice timbre with a natural compression on the dialog and some deessing if necessary. Of course, I always focus my approach according to my client's indication and expectations. So I fit pretty well when it comes to work as a team!
