ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT ( PART-TIME)

An Organization is seeking a dedicated, reliable, Administrative Assistant who provides direct support to organization administrators. Candidates must be extremely detail oriented and have exceptional organization skills. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be personable and flexible. Job Description: Manage Accounts Payable using Quickbooks and maintain accurate financial records. Serve as accounting liaison for vendors, data entry, bookkeeper and state auditors. Maintain staff employment files, create staff training records and maintain staff directory. Assist with event planning. Create and design event programs, serve as liaison with venue staff, schedule transportation, coordinate parking permits, purchase supplies, create maps and assist as needed during the event. Records retention - manage and coordinate a regular schedule of shredding certain documents based on a very detailed records retention schedule. Manage extracurricular activities. Coordinate schedules and create contracts for each of our contracted services offering extracurricular activities. Knowledge Required: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Basic accounting procedures Adobe Acrobat experience (preferred) Skills Required: Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to plan, analyze and coordinate activities Detail oriented and organized Please join our team of dedicated professionals in a well established, community oriented.
