Create logo for a company called Crooze Boats. Initial notes: Would like it to be simple and also noticeable on the hull of a boat. The logo should be modern and simple enough to be featured as an app icon. Don’t think that the logo and the app icon should be substantially different. The logo should look good as a silhouette (black and white). While a logo featuring a boat is interesting, would prefer if it were either stylized or differentiated somehow. Goal: Logo that is: • Goal is to have nautical, beach, island, boat, water vibe • Something boating and / or water related, a motor boat, waves, etc • Should be easily “updatable” for locale (lake community vs tropical vs eastern seaboard) – hence initial thinking is focus on a font…artwork can be used or not • Emotion should be relaxing, evoke movement perhaps? • Generally I tend towards modern, but vintage elements can be brought in due to nautical theme • Logo or lettering will need to be on the boat similar to how lyft had the mustache so people know it is their boat that is approaching (and also for marketing purposes)…with this in mind it MUST be easy to read from afar The selected designer will have to have STRIKING simple / Iconic designs mixed in with Logo work that shows good use of illustration. This is not just a text / font logo I want. The winning candidate will be awarded to the person who showcases a great portfolio and also showing some samples of how you would combine the description and also the letters use the visual graphics sent (OR IMPROVED VERSIONS AS THESE ARE JUST SUGGESTIONS). I will want to be able to reach the design team by phone/ Skype call and my location is USA EST.
