Sample chapter for layout

Hi Freelancers! We are working on creating a curriculum that teaches people from age 4 to adult how to be more aware of their bodies and the signals the body sends. We're looking for a smart designer to create two sample chapters that are attached to the description of this contest. We look forward to reviewing your portfolio! Specifications: 8.5 x 11 Vertical Design Please leave a 'no-bleed' white border around all edges Black and white only The book has two different types of chapters: the introductory chapters that explain the main concepts of the curriculum and then the chapters that are the lesson plans that make up the bulk of the curriculum. We'd like the Chapter 1 design to make the concepts feel simple and 'breathable' - it's a lot of heavy information in the chapter and we want the pace of the book to feel digestible and easy-to-understand. For the lesson plan chapter, we'd want a simple, sensible, and predictable layout that feels fresh and has a good sense of flow. This layout would be essentially identical for all lesson plan chapters. We want the readers to feel like they have something they can implement easily. Please let us know how you calculate your rate for completing the layout for an entire book. We'd love to work with a designer who we can also hire to complete some modifiable pdfs that match the design of the chapters and we'd also like to create some activity cards that need to be laid out as well, so please let us know if you have the skills!
