MOD Devices sells audio processors based on embedded Linux running in an ARM system-on-module. We are migrating platforms, from the Allwinner A20 SOM to a Freescale MX8. The job consists on the porting from the sunxi-linux 3.4 to the Mainline LTS kernel. The system is based on Buildroot. The configuration of the kernel includes applying the RT-patch and configure scheduling, systemd and USB-ETH gadget. A new DTD - Device Tree Descriptor - will need to be created. The original system uses a FEX file.
