Topic: The effectiveness of celebrity endorsements in the beauty salon industry in Hong Kong and their customer’s ideology. * how much of the time these beauty/slimming companies are known to 'con' women into buying yet women still continue to purchase. (customer ideology) * how celebrities function - what factors would affect the effectiveness etc. (celebrity endorsement * HONG KONG ENVIRONMENT * NARROW DOWN TO WOMEN ONLY Literature Review: * The literature review should start from a broad perspective, talking about theories, contemporary issues (looking at past news and issues in the industry etc.) * It should also contain definitions ie: o What a celebrity is in this dissertation for example.. a celebrity is someone famous… singer, actor, tv show host, socialites …etc. o Definition for beauty/ slimming company- Some history of celebrity endorsement ETC. METHODOLOGY: I would like the method to be both qualitative and quantitative. the total will be 15,000 words
