Looking to hire a developer to make a NEW running app idea a reality. Mock ups have already been completed. What is Fimbler: If you need more motivation to stay fit and like to make a difference then Fimbler was made for you. It is a mobile fundraising fitness app that encourages you to stay active through a fun multiplayer virtual race. How It Works: Fimbler let’s you create ‘virtual races’ and race against friends. The challenger selects a charity and sets a donation amount (up to £100), invited friends must match the donation and also pick a charity to represent. The person that runs (or walks) the most miles during the duration of the race wins and the total money raised is donated to the winner's charity. Technical: - App will use Apple HealthKit API to track distance walked or ran ( [login to view URL]) and create a leaderboard for each challennge - send notifications when user has gone up or down the leaderboard - Use Braintree to accept donations and process payments. - award medals to top 3 - gold, silver and bronze - award 'fimbler coins' to users - which will be used to buy stuff on the fimbler store (store included in next update)
