InterMotive is a market leader in the Transit, Work truck, Ambulance and Law Enforcement vehicle upfitter solutions market. We develop embedded controllers which interface with vehicle networks and provide upfitter solutions for the above markets. Learn more about us at www.intermotive.net. We have developed an Android smart phone app which communicates via BLE with a custom vehicle module we designed. This is for a work truck application. We need an iOS version developed now that is equivalent to our Android version with the same look, feel, and functionality. The Android version was written in Java using Android Studio. Once we have selected a developer to work with, we will give you access to the Android source code, the hardware module, and the BLE protocol spec we developed for communication between the two, as well as a written description of how the system works. We have included (or will make available) the Android apk file which will allow you to run the Android version and get a feel for the project. Since we will be supporting both versions (Android and iOS) far into the future, it would be beneficial if both versions used a common language and tool set if practical. Time Frame: we have somewhat of a short fuse on this project of about six weeks. Preference will be given to developers in or near the Pacific Time zone. Developer must be able to speak and write in easily understandable English. Deliverables include a fully functional iOS application and all source code files, and tool details. We will expect ongoing support as needed for the first six months after product release. iOS application should be tested on numerous models of Apple phones and tablets.
