Hi, I do native iOS app development with Swift. I've ported a couple of Android apps to iOS that were used to control an LED light connected via BLE. See "Hands Free Light" or "Hands Free Speed Limit" in the App Store. The hardware was supplied to me by the client and I would assume you are planning on doing the same?
