Help create a dynamic T-SQL Table / View for Data Visualisation : Network Graph

Looking for a sql developer to help 1) prepare data in SQL View or table so that I can visualise the data as a 'Network Chart' in Tableau. The chart should show Territories with Countries, Companies and Contacts linked. Please see this video to help explain how the data should be prepared :[login to view URL] From the video, the data is prepared manually, I need this prepared so that row ids, x and y axis are generated dynamically so that I can plot the data in Tableau. The relationships and datasets are simple yet there are a lot of contacts and companies. Perhaps a Skype call would be easier to explain? Have you done something like this before?

Hi There, 1. Where is this data stored now "The chart should show Territories with Countries, Companies and Contacts linked" ? in MS access/SQL Server/My SQL. Row ID can be generated dynamically and X and Y as well if you mentioned the DB you currently use that will be verify helpful. Thanks, Favaz

Yes, I have done projects like this mainly for analytics purpose, Where we used to create views based on different dimensions and facts and that particular views being used in Tableau. It would be great if we can discuss this on skype for details and get all clarifications and ideas to do it in better way. I would suggest creating views on top of Table will be good to be used in Tableau.

Hi Looks like an interesting problem you have there! It will probably take a few attempts in order to get the SQL to generate the data as you need it. The SQL itself will be quite simple. What will be harder is determining the position and circle sizes based on the number of elements which need to go on to it.
