Fix Java Applets

We have a Unix Simulator Java Applet that we had developed quite a while ago and we would like to have it debugged, as well as have some minor changes made to it. 1. I would like to ensure that the applet runs well on all modern web browsers (IE 5 and above). We initially had a lot of issues with it not running at all on some browswers, or the carriage return not working properly. 2. If there are components that need to be loaded on the client machine I'd like this to be able to detect that and give the user the option to download and install whatever is needed for this to run properly. 3. I'd like the coder on this project to put our company name Learn Security Online, Inc. on the top or bottom of the applet. 4. Develop and integrate a mechanism into this simulator to allow for user tracking. We want to be able to track which of our website members have used this simulator and what levels they have succcessfully completed. We don't want to use JDBC, we want to develop some sort of simple framework or API that will allow for communication between this applet and the website member MySQL database (this DB has not been developed yet). 5. Documented source code detailing the changes that needed to be made must be provided to us in each weekly status report Lastly, if this project goes well I'd like to consider the developer for a series of other projects using a similar framework so it's very critical that this project goes well, and is well documented. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
