Wordpress Simple Tags hack(repost)

I'm using Wordpress 3.0, Simple Tags 1.8 ([login to view URL]) and Autoblogged 2.7.1 ([login to view URL]) **Issue 1** Simple Tags auto terms fucntion has a tagging issue according to the place of the word compared to the text/punctuation in the post title or/and in the post content. Examples : blabla tagword > not tagged tagword > not tagged tagword blabla > tagged blabla tagword blabla > tagged tagword, blabla > not tagged blabla "tagword" blabla > not tagged >it concerns all the punctuation signs. **Issue 2** Simple Tags auto terms function doesn't ignore accents. **Issue 3** Simple tags auto terms function doesn't work with Autoblogged. >It works when a post is published manually but not when it's posted with Autoblogged. If possible, I'd like the hack to be created outside the Simple Tags core files, in order to make it support the future updated version.
