Hi, Seems like you want to build a system using an open-source OCR/ICR software package to grade scanned documents. The workflow will be like when any document package will be scanned and converted to TIFF/PDF/JPG format the software system will grade the document on the criteria which you will choose for it. It's all about the answers of the given questions, most probably it happens with the MCQs. One has to fill the blank or dot to mark the answer correct and after that, the system will check, grade and scanned it in PDF/TIFF/JPG format. I must say it's really a complex software to make but I know how to deal with it.
