I have a library database of abstracts and document information. The mysql full text boolean keyword search with prepared statements works well. It has options to limit to certain columns (i.e. author, title, abstract). The library website also offers in the menu pages that return specific search results. For example on page contains the articles in the library attributed to a certain author, but there are many results. I would like to offer the web visitor the option to narrow those results with keyword search.
