It's quite easy, this website is offering a subscription to receive each day an email with a course inside.
Once the user has paid, he can subscribe to only ONE course at the same time. So somehow, Mailchimp or Wordpress manage to know if the user is already inside a list, and if users subscribes to another course, it will stop the first one.
The subscription process is also very simple, I would like to have pretty much the same thing.
