I would like to hire a Freelance Developer

I am looking for an experienced developer who can work on a fixed contract to implement new designs (Sketch-based) on an existing site. The site provides listings for customers to search and contact businesses The deliverable This project entails the following 1. Translate designer mock ups into front end screens 2. Assess time/cost trade-off between building on top of existing code base vs. rewrite 3. Integrate data analytics to capture user funnel metrics The designs are responsive, and the UI will need to be connected to the backend API to enable users to query the database of existing businesses and products, using location-based and category-based search. The existing site was built using a PHP-framework, symfony2, using MySql DB is hosted on DigitalOcean. Responsibilities • Implement new responsive designs, with scope for development of new user-facing features in future • Build reusable code and libraries for future use, with clear, concise documentation • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end • Familiarity with unit-testing and test driven development to ensure effective QA Desired Skills And Qualifications The right developer will have expertise in the following: • Delivery of data-driven consumer apps, with marketplace experience a bonus, and asynchronous match making a plus • An unwavering commitment to regression testing, unit testing and acceptance criteria • A fiendish desire to log errors • Front-end integration experience with a LAMP or MEAN back-end • Familiarity with API Creation and RESTful services • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery • Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, etc. • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
