i have got a very old Restaurant software on an old windows XP system working with Access 97 Database (.mdb) i want an automation which works silent in system tray (or via command batch file) it must check the MDB file each XX minutes and if file is changed it compresses this file then uploads each time this file to a ftp server without deleting other copies of old uploads for scheduling Windows Task scheduler may be used or the Batch file automatically schedules it.. if possible i need automatically unpack the compressed files on the server (via php or any other automation) after uploading i want to check via PHP the uploaded Access databases. my purpose is to check a Table in database and compare all uploaded versions of this table however how to read Access database via PHP. or can you automatically unpack the zip file and convert Access to MySql ? MDBconvert Mdbexport does in linux this task so the bash command line script may be like this: zip -1 -q -o [login to view URL] [login to view URL] after compression is successfull ftp -s:[login to view URL] [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] seems like this: " user password put [login to view URL] " but it must not overwrite to remote file, it may add Hour:Minute like 12:39 of the current time, so that files are not overwritten and all versions are uploaded now the rest php code how to unpack, compare these access databases (or convert them to sql)
