iPhone mutual fund list application. This iPhone/iPad application will allow a user to obtain a listing of mutual funds grouped by category.
The application consists of 5 screens:
1) Splash screen static information
2) Fund category selector (allows user to select fund category, e.g., US Size); approximately 10 fund categories; within the categories there are sub-categories (e.g., US Small Cap, US Mid Cap); the user can expand or condense categories to see sub categories
3) Category detail page: 4 column listing of funds within the category; the table contains Fund name, Manager, Fund Ticker Symbol and Expense ratio. For some of the fund managers, the user can click on the detail line and a web site (with a fixed URL based on the fund ticker) will open for fund details. (**important none of this info is live, it's all from a static table)****
**
4) Legal disclosures (static text)
5) About this application/fund manager (static text)
**Important notes:
**None of the data is "live". The categories are fixed and the table of funds is pre-loaded. The user should be given an option to re-download a new table (ideally if the user is connected to the internet, the app should check if a newer table is available and offer to download it). We can prep the table in any desired format (xml, flat file, etc) and it will be hosted on our site. We have flexibility on how the table will be hosted and downloaded.
We will work with the developer on specifying branding and design
There are no login screens or registration requirements
Tracking should include number of downloads (from app store) and number of times the program is opened
