SharePoint Contractor / Consultant

SharePoint administration (implements best practices and then train internal IT staff on administrative responsibilities) Build new applications primarily through workflows and other GUI tools but some coding may be required Must provide training as necessary. The candidate will also be required to document policies, procedures, as well as any instructions for custom developed SharePoint based applications. Responsible to ensure the integrity of the data and to ensure that the environment is backed-up, etc. Other IT Support, database administration or network administration duties may be required at times (The IT department works as one cohesive team). Will be expected to implement redundancy (at the application & database levels) to ensure maximum up-time. Required skills: Comprehensive understanding of all SharePoint Administration and Best practices procedures is a must. Demonstrated success in a corporate environment as a SharePoint 2010 administrator / developer Experience as a SharePoint developer (Successful candidate will be required to develop some basic applications using the SharePoint platform) Thorough understanding of SharePoint custom workflows (ability to develop a scope of work with the end-users and then develop the custom solutions, based on that work scope.) Solid understand of SQL database structure and all related administrative responsibilities Ability to configure automated SharePoint backups and restore at granular level from these backups Basic Windows Administration skills (drive mappings, login scripts, NTFS permissions, DFS, DNS, etc.).
