I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - i will need some basic drawings/sketches to see what is about... 2 - being required to be foldable it will be necessary to hinged structure with locking systems/devices (eventually screws) 3 - because is required to have plastic like lexan or pc it is necessary to be sturdy enough in order to have the proper stiffness and not crack the plastic 4 - what about the support or connexions?... a lot more questions upon contacting here... Hello there! CAD Expert here, proficient in Solidworks. For the last four years i was chief design for small manufacturing company where i was composing technical drawings for manufacturing parts or assemblies and .dxf files for cutting (nesting patterns) and developed product 3D printed prototypes.
