Freelance Content Producer (Videography and Photography) in California

We are looking for various content producers to join the Beige Cashmere Freelance Partnership Program! Beige Cashmere is a top rated Video Production Company looking for skilled videographers and photographers to join our community and be part of all on call team. This role will be focused on camera operation, videography and day-of production. Our ideal candidate has a track record of success in filming and producing content, and is looking to take the next step in production excellence. If you are passionate about video and enjoy a range of production styles, you’ve come to the right place. What you will do? Here’s the deal— you are going to work with us by project as an independent contractor. Our idea is to work as strategic partners, you will take care of the shooting and our internal post production team will take care of the rest. We’ve compiled the most important responsibilities: - Work with our internal team and clients to translate production plan and concepts into high quality production execution - Contribute to pre-production planning including advising on production specs, style guides, and new ideas for creative production - Lead all aspects of on set production including equipment management, building the set, building camera packages, interacting with client and talent, and managing the successful capture of content to scoped time and budget - Manage your own equipment and add production value - Once the shoot is done, deliver all the raw footage into our google drive on time What do we need? We’re looking for a candidate with a well-rounded production background with exposure to pre-production and significant experience with on-set production. To lead the way, you’ll need to have the following: - Expertise in filming, media, communications, video production, marketing or related field required or equivalent amount of additional experience - 3 years of experience editing and shooting content with an agency, as a freelancer, or in a high-volume corporate environment - Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of RED Camera platforms, Blackmagic Camera, Mirro Platforms, stabilization equipment, and the build out of production set - Full understanding of lighting and audio for high quality production - Experience in working with different deliverable types, including 4K+, varying frame rates and shutter speeds to achieve dynamic styles - A high degree of organizational effectiveness and attention to detail, especially related to cinematic composition, equipment, and file structure. - The ability to be adaptable, work independently and as part of a team to establish project deliverables - The ability to produce work for a range of digital mediums, including web, mobile and social media, and TV - The willingness to step out of your core skill set or discipline to find the correct solution to a challenge, being solution-focused and medium-agnostic - Passionate, positive energy with the ambition and a commitment to deliver amazing results This Program is aimed towards solidifying a database of quality content producers, who are willing to work as independent contractors for Beige Cashmere in a long term relationship. This partnership also allows content producers to be considered for numerous projects on a daily basis once they've entered our database and gone through the application process.
