shopping cart coding repair, Mal's Shopping Cart

This project involves reviving a cart that was damaged by a former "programmer" (apparently a wannabe) on my old html website, [login to view URL] The cart is not working bc the items descriptions don't show in the cart or on the receipt emails, only the price is displayed, so it needs some repair. The coder got the spacing the way I wanted it although the cart is now disfunctional in it's present condition. This cart is a Mal's Shopping Cart, which I have used for many years with no problems, below is a description: ... You can add items to your cart using an HTML form post instead of an ordinary hyperlink. You must set the same values that you set in a hyperlink; your Username, the product description and a price. You can also post a quantity and a url for a Continue shopping button in the cart. Eventually I chose to update it into a modern wordpress look that became the current site: [login to view URL] How I got involved with contracting wannabe programmers is a story in itself, but anyway here we are, involved in repair work that's not too complicated, I believe. I have both sites cross-linked now and I still get orders on the old html site which is now known as [login to view URL] but my clean-up guy has mangled the button codes on all of the selling pages. He got the look that I wanted but he didnt test it.
