Hi, I'm an expert in Visual Basic 6.0. I have built many applications over the past 18 years. I can build a visual interface for you to manage the folders on the server. You can do this for as many folders you like. The system will run a different command line application, which I will also build, every day or every hour. You could create a scheduled task for running this application in the Task Scheduler. I can help you create that if you are not sure about it. So you can manage the folders using the GUI application. Also, you can set the rules for deletion as well in this application. The command line application will move or delete the folders, based on the configuration you had set in the GUI application. Good day. Do understand that you would like to move files from shared folder that are 30 or more days old to another delete folder and from there delete it after 30 days. Not worked on batch scripts for a long long time but can work on it and deliver the script that is scheduled to run on a daily basis in windows scheduler. Will write and test the script before handing over. Need a day's time to get everything right. If everything works fine, then only you have to pay me. Please let me know whether I can start on it. Also please let me. Know whether the shared folder is same for all users or is it different for different users. Thank you.
