Dynamic search page that filters on values from a form

Hey Freelancers! I've got a WordPress-based hospitality business directory website, and I'd like to implement an option where businesses can select different features they offer ('hot tubs', 'wifi', etc.) and then users can search and filter the business based on the values they checked. Adding the checkboxes and displaying the info from the checkboxes has already been accomplished by use of a simple WordPress form, but the part I need now is for the users to be able to search/filter based on those values. I found one plugin that super complicated to use, and my use-case is pretty simple. And simpler is better. So in summary, it would have the following criteria: 1) Provide users the ability to search through listings and filter based on the values associated with the 'Features' meta key 2) Display the number of results next to each feature (if there are 5 listings with A/C, show "(5)" next to the A/C text) 3) Dynamically update results so that if there 5 listings with A/C, 8 listing with wifi, but only 2 listings with both A/C and wifi, if they click A/C first, the number next to wifi should indicate a 2 instead of an 8 since the A/C listings have already been filtered. (Hopefully that makes sense.) 4) Display the results using the template's Search template (or at least a template that uses the themes same header, menu, and styling) Also, for what it's worth, I don't mind if you integrate pre-existing plugins or code, as long as it's simple to use.
