I need a power point presentation based on a scientific article. Here is the assignment: PRESENTATION GUIDELINES Your presentation will be done in PowerPoint and should be roughly organized as follows: • Introduction o Topic Background – Rationale for the paper. • What has been done in the past? o What is the purpose of the article? o What is the hypothesis that underpins the research? • Material and Methods o Briefly describe the apparatus that was used (a figure might help) o Focus on the procedure • What type of design – Between subjects, within subjects? • How was it controlled? • Any known confounds? • Some of the designs can look complicated, but can usually be described really easily. You will see that the designs appear large and complicated because of counterbalancing, which is important for experimenting, but not important for the audience to know. It will be sufficient to say that counterbalancing was done and then move on from there. • Results o Descriptive results (make use of figures and tables) • Describe in some detail. Make sure to explain the axes of any figures you put up. Choose only relevant figures. It is at your discretion to choose the figures that you present. o Statistics are not that important in the grand scheme of things. Feel free to tell the audience if something is significant or not, but I don’t want you to get up there and list off a bunch of t and F statistics. I have attached the scientific article.
