Short-term Marketing Strategy for Niché Mobile App

I am looking to hire a PR and marketing guru to develop a detailed short-term marketing strategy for my iOS app in order to acquire my first users. Well Spotted! Is a safari and wildlife-spotting app. When a user goes on safari, especially in places like Africa (but really any place around the world where there is wildlife), they download the app and select the location they are going on safari. The app downloads a comprehensive list of all the wildlife available in that location. The total amount of wildlife that the app downloads for each location is in the range of about 500 different species. It also downloads extra information about the wildlife (from wikipedia) as well as multiple images for each wildlife that the user can look at. The app can be used entirely offline and the user can read up about the wildlife, look at the images and also check off each wildlife that they have seen. The wildlife that they have seen are saved and a future release will allow the user to easily share the sightings that they have seen with friends and family. Currently though, the user can take screenshots and send those screenshots instead. Functionality is limited as this is an MVP and I want to get it into peoples hands so I can get some feedback for what direction the app should take before developing it further. Having said that, the app is fantastic and works really well and definitely fulfills its purpose: to keep track of the wildlife you have seen on safari. It can be used for bird-watching but frankly, there are much better bird-watching apps out there. I am also considering adding the feature where a user can add their own photos of wildlife to the app, but again, that needs to wait until I get some feedback from users first. You will be required to: 1. Test out the app to see how it works. 2. Do market research in the safari/wildlife niche. 3. Development a short term marketing strategy to get my first paying users. This is a very niche app and requires an advanced understanding of marketing to get it into the right hands. I would prefer to get it into the hands of KOLs such as safari guides, who can in turn market the app to the in-person safari clients and/or social media followers, but ultimately the goal is to get it into the hands of end-users. Continuing work might include: 1. Giving me feedback on the any videos or Instagram reels and posts I create. 2. Writing email templates and Instagram and Facebook DM templates for me to use when contacting KOLs and/or end-users. I am looking for short-term solutions to get the app into people's hands now, not later. This rules out SEO, ASO and a social media campaign. Also due to budgetary constraints, lack of specificity and considering how small the safari niche is, it also rules out FB and Instagram advertising (unless you have some really good ideas that can get my target market to respond to ads). I am a solo developer and this is my first major app release so of course everything is being entirely financed by me, which means ultra-tight budgeting. For that reason the only requirement for this brief is to develop a marketing strategy. I will be the one implementing the strategy to save money. Therefore the brief needs to be detailed enough so that I can easily follow it without direct guidance because I am not a marketing or PR expert. You also need to answer the following question: 'Who is Edward Bernays and what influence has he had upon you'? You need to start the question with, 'Eddy-baby is...'. If you don't answer the question or don't start the question as instructed, you either didn't read the brief properly or can't follow instructions. In either case, we won't be a good fit. This a way of weeding out weaker candidates. I would rather pay a high hourly rate for a true expert in this field that than pay a lower hourly rate for more hours from someone who is not a true expert. Lookin forward to your proposals.
