384825 Near Clone - digital rolodex

Overview The application to be created shall be Tabodex™. It is an online digital rolodex built to provide online storage of address book information similar to an old-fashioned paper address book. Additionally, the program will store subscriber's usernames and passwords, should they elect to do so. The application will be similar to [login to view URL] but there are some problems with flexadex… namely no SSL, so all those addresses and phone numbers are flying over the Net unencrypted. The data one stores are not encrypted so many will not use it for fear of sharing data that should not be seen by prying eyes. Flexadex had a limit of 1,000 contacts. This should be ample for 99% of the people but we are increasing to 2,000. This application is not necessarily a clone to flexadex but very similar, with additional features and would have SSL encryption not currently found in flexadex. We will offer the program for free and place our own advertising for several of our sites as a way to drive traffic to that site. We will also offer advertising to just a handful of other advertisers along with Google Ad Sense. Therefore we need an admin panel where we can upload/edit/delete such advertising in text, moving .gif or small flash display. Specifications At time of subscribing a user must be a live person and verification should take place. An SRS has been completed for the project and as quick as the bid is awarded, programmers can start immediately and the SRS will be provided immediately. The scope covers: - Setting of the secure channel like SSL for communication with server vs client - To provide users the facility to add their contact information online - Integration of Google Ad Sense in inner pages of the application - Provision for users to subscribe for custom advertising on Tabodex™ - Admin panel to maintain advertising displays, cost, expiry, etc. - Donations accepted through a Google Checkout account - Payment system for advertising using Google Checkout Images will be provided. The mockup graphics of the home page and inner page are currently complete for detailed reference. However any fine-tuning to add value to them is welcome. Stimulus/Response Sequences - The user will successfully login to app - User will browse to the address book page - Select the appropriate alphabet on which he/she would like to add contact info - The app must save the entered details and display appropriate message to let the user know of the save - Copy/Paste feature for email ID's from Tabodex™ into other applications must be allowed I am also hoping to find someone who can assist me in marketing this free program via net so it would be good if your firm has such skills as well. Software Environment - Windows 2003 Server - The application will be hosted on II6 6.0 or 7.0 - SQL Server 2005 Database The application should be developed using .NET framework. Communication The project will be discussed periodically between programmer(s) via Instant Messaging with myself but you will be left to doing this mostly on your own, as I am very busy, so I will need programmer(s) I believe I can trust to get the job done.
