Our company has been developing the open-source EchoVNC project (ftp://[login to view URL]) for several years now. In that project, there's a sub-project called StartupWizard. When compiled, [login to view URL] is optionally invoked by the EchoVNC installer, and it essentially loads some HKCU and HKLM registry entries for use by EchoVNC when it runs.
Right now, StartupWizard is "static". I'd simply like to change it so that it could be passed some optional parameter=values via the command line. These parameters would essentially be used as the runtime defaults, rather than the static #defines we use now.
Specifically, I'd like parameters for:
echoserver=
echopass=
vncpass=
If any of those parameters are specified, the values should be used as the defaults when StartupWizard runs.
Finally, I'd like to add two command-line switches:
-help
-silent
If this last switch is set, then it checks to see if all three parameters have been specified also at the command line. If they are not, it should throw an error: "Sorry...the -silent switch requires that all other parameters be specified." If all three are specified, the StartupWizard should apply all of them and exit without any GUI or user involvement.
One minor hiccup: StartupWizard was built in an obsolete release of VC++. It probably does not compile cleanly on VS 2008. But, I'd like it to once this project is complete.
