I'm looking for someone to make an arduino emulate a keyboard with 10 buttons. I need numbers: 0,1,2,7,8,9 and letters: c,d,o,z to appear as keypresses on PC where the arduino is connected via USB and shows up as a keyboard. I can provide you with teamviewer on windows, linux, mac with the device connected. I'm looking for someone who can do this now, not in 3 days or a week.

You'll probably get surprised as the cost is much higher. It's because I will propose a different solution for your need. The reason is: The instructions on your 1st and 2nd links use standard Uno with 2 MCUs: ATmega16u2 and Atmega328p. The board you are using on the last link is a clone Uno that uses CH340 to interface with USB (328 is still there but no 16u2) - this board is very common today and very cheap => no way to reprogram CH340 to work as HID keyboard. My solution is: I am going to make a new board which is as small as a traditional USB flash drive. It has a standard-A USB to plug to the computer. It also has serial 3-pins to accept serial communication. All you need to do is - use Uno or whatever board you like, then connect to these 3 pin and send characters to the board => the board will send keys to the computer. Alternately, if you need the board to interface with 10 wires for 10 button, I can make that board too => it will a bit bigger to solder 10 pin connectors. If any question, please chat. Thanks, Anh

I can help you in this project arduino uno can be configured as an hid device that feature can be achieved using atmega8bwhich is placed on a uno board along with the atmega328 The board you have is also arduino uno in smd Chinese version it does not have the atmega8 it only contains atmega328 Hid feature can be achieved with atmega8 firmware update but in your board it is replace with USB to serial converter ic so it will not work for your project if you buy a arduino uno board then I am ready to work with you and will deliver you in a day
