I am looking for someone to develop a G-Code Nesting Executable for our CNC Routers. I have a specific nesting pattern in mind for the parts to be nested, with the purpose of being able to optimize usage of our standard sheet size 1050mm x 2010mm. With this G-Code executable, I would like to have a solution that allows me to generate and manage nesting patterns quickly and accurately. I would expect such a system to consider parameters such as material type, material thickness, material dimensions, and other factors while generating the most efficient nesting patterns within my given material constraints. To explain further, for every job our software generates a few G-Code files related to that job: it creates 4 (.tap) files for the 6mm router bits, 1 (.tap) file for 8mm router bits and 1 (.tap) file for 3mm router bits all for the same job. The reason for the 4 files for 6mm is that 2 of them need to be be run first in the cutting process though these two could be consolidated within the executable, the other 2 are the last to be run after 8mm and 3mm. So lets say we have 7 jobs all with 6 files for the respective router bits. We would like a simplistic user interface so that we can drop these 7 x jobs files into and the executable should calculate best sheet yield for these files, leaving a small gap of say 10mm between the edges of each completed job section. It should indicate which job/s couldn't fit on this sheet if all couldn't fit and output 3 x single G-Code files for each router bit size. For each router bit per job, it needs to use the same XY starting position . The requirement is to maximize usage of our full sheet to reduce waste, improve efficiencies. The job files selected will always be the same thickness of sheet. Should we in error drop in a file with a differing sheet thickness, we need to be warned to remove that job.
