Customization and Integration of Application (C, JASON, Node.JS)

Project Description Part 1 1. Download FiwareDeviceSimulator (C Made and open-source) from Github. [login to view URL] 2. Read its help page. (To familiarize with its structure and files). [login to view URL] 3. The simulator has three main parts. I. Commands (To run the simulator) II. A configuration file (In which all properties are given in JASON format) III. An Interpolator file (Which generates the dummy values for the properties set in the configuration file) 4. Run this Simulator with the given sample configuration file and sample Interpolator File by using its command. 5. When it runs successfully, Integrate this Simulator with Freeboard Account (A free visualization tool. You will be provided complete configuration, google API, and Freeboard account user name and password. You just need to put path and addresses to integrate it with the simulator. It will display values on the Freeboard screen. 6. You need to modify the configuration file to add our five properties (Temperature, Light, Humidity, Smoke, Fire). 7. You need to make slight changes accordingly in the Interpolator file. (Which is used to generate dummy values for these properties as per set criteria. I will provide you the criteria) 8. Finally, you will run the simulator with modified properties. If run successfully, it will show the dummy values of our modified properties on Freeboard screen. Part Two. 1. Download Fiware Orion Context broker from Github. [login to view URL] 2. Read its help page. (To familiarize with its working). [login to view URL] 3. You will create an entity name “home” which has five properties (Temperature, Light, Humidity, Smoke, Fire). Sample code is given, you need to modify it. 4. You will be provided a set of condition (Usually seven to eight) which you will add in Orion. Sample code is given. You need to add conditions. 5. You will integrate Orion with our FiwareDeviceSimulator and visualization tool (Freeboard). 6. First, you run the FiwareDeviceSimulator, it will generate values for five properties. Then you will run Orion, it will take values from Simulator and if a condition is triggered, it will show an appropriate notification i.e. If Temperature (Value) is greater than 35 then “Turn On” Air Conditioner, etc. If all goes right, it will work in this way. Skills Required in this project. 1. This project needs a person who has programming experience in C, C++, or Java, etc. This project does not involve programming. It is just a matter of Modification and configuration but it requires programming knowledge and practice. 2. That person should have knowledge of dealing with the Github repositories, open-source APIs and Node.JS. 3. That person should be familiar with JASON Format. Helping Material: I am uploading two presentations which clearly describes the working of FiwareDeviceSimulator and Fiware Orion. Project Timeline. For a person who has above-given experience and knowledge and he has done any similar job before, it is a matter of some hours. Otherwise, with these requirements, this project should be completed well within two days. During this project, I will also work with the freelancer to manage it complete in minimum time. I will give preference to that person who will be available at spot and will ready to start work with me.
