RTD Server Breaks in Windows 10

Hi: I had an RTD server built for me 2005 and it has worked well until I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I unfortunately don't have the source code for the RTD Server. I'm not sure why the server breaks. Here is video of it working in Windows 7 (64): [login to view URL] Here is video of it breaking in windows 10 (64): [login to view URL] I require a C++ consultant who can analyze dll's so they can fix my system so the RTD Server can work with Windows 10. You will also need to be an Expert in Excel and will have to be able to confirm the error I'm getting so you will need access to windows 7 Pro (64 bit) and windows 10 Pro (64 bit). I will provide the dll files for the server and a sample spreadsheet and instructions so you can test it. PLEASE only reply if you are very confident that you can fix this issue. I do NOT want a new server built for me but want the existing one to work in Windows 10. I will require that the server works on MY windows 10 system.

Hello, while I don't have the specific RDP server experience I browsed through a demo C++ server and have an idea how it works. I do have C++ / office development history https://www.freelancer.com/projects/project-5105536/ https://www.freelancer.com/projects/dot-net/Microsoft-PowerPoint-keyboard-hook/ and I have understanding how COM objects look like after compiling, without the source code. Interactive Disassembler Pro is my preferred disassembler.

You should run by giving older version compatibility mode. Your older version application is not supporting in windows 10. So you should enable Older version compatibility mode.

Hello, I can take a look at VCRTDServer exe and DLLs to see if I can fix the issue when it's used as an Excel 2016 add-in running on Windows 10. At this point, I can't really say for sure I'll be able to fix it, so, if you like, we can do this project as a fixed-price project. This means you'll pay only if I manage to get VCRTDServer to work on both Windows 7 and Windows 10. Thanks
