Data Entry for E-commerce Site

Online Data Entry We have Hundreds - Thousands of products that have to be entered on our website online via a graphical interface and are looking for an individual freelancer (no companies please) to enter these products into our database. Each product would have to be manually entered into our system using data from our manufacturers website or the information will be provided to you directly by us. Some Knowledge of HTML The description of the products needs to be entered in HTML format, so very basic html knowledge is requested but not required. Photoshop Images are either provided by us or available from manufacturers site. These images will need to be sized, optimized and uploaded to the site. Max 11 images - usually 3-4 images. Price Calculation In some cased there will be a need to convert prices into Euros from other currencies and calculate vat. Internet Research If you do well on the tasks, we may request simple online research to find competing prices then enter url and price info into a supplemental field Files/Communication We provide Excel files or PDF via email. You should use Skype so that we can communicate at anytime during the project. Note on Bids Job entails mostly copy/paste and clicks - A good and fast data-entry person can do one product in minutes. This is piecework: We are looking on bids based on price per product -( $0.0/product ) but you should also give us your hourly rate ( $0.0/hour), so we can determine how many products you can do in an hour. Urgent start and rapid turnaround desired 1. You send us your bid and provide relevant samples and show that you understand our project. Tell us what kind of work you have done in the past and how it pertains to this project. 2. We will start with a small task - say 5-10 products to be turned around in 24hours - If we like the quality and accuracy then you have the job. Each sucessive job will be small and need quick turn-around. payment will be just as quick. 3. If everything goes well then we give you more responsibility and more tasks. we are looking for a long-term partner.
