INVP ----- INVESTEC IPO ----- IP GROUP JLG ----- JOHN LAING G JUP ----- JUPITER FND LSE ----- [login to view URL] EMG ----- MAN GROUP OSB ----- ONESAVINGS PAG ----- PARAGON GRP. PFG ----- PROVIDENT FIN. RAT ----- RATHBONE BROS SDR ----- SCHRODERS SVI ----- SVG CAP. TLPR ----- TULLETT PREBON Download Annual Reports covering every year available back to year 2000 if possible. The documents are generally in PDF format. The documents are generally located in "investor relations" section of the company website, but may need Google to find some. Occasionally the documents are marked as SECURE and you cannot copy text. If you are unable to remove the security, please move on to the next company and make a note of why you were unable to extract text, within the excel table. 2) locate within each document the "CHAIRMAN REVIEW" (But it can have alternative names such as "CHAIRMAN STATEMENT"). Copy all of this text in to Microsoft excel table, as per the template provided as an attached file here. 3) locate within each document the "CHIEF EXECUTIVE REVIEW" (But it can have alternative names such as "CHIEF EXECUTIVE STATEMENT"). Copy all of this text in to Microsoft excel table, as per the template provided as an attached file here. Please note that sometimes a report will not contain statements from both Chairman and Chief Executive. If so, please mark "Not Available" in the relevant area of excel table and move on. 4) Within the excel table, please note the relevant year / time period. The reports should contain an indication of what time period is covered, it will say somewhere "Year Ending 31 March 2013" or "Up to 31 December 2005", or the Chairman Review will include a date e.g. 15 March 2015. I have several thousand reports that I would like to extract data for, but as a starting trial this Job covers the 25 companies listed above.
