We are a freight forwarding/logistics company based in Malawi, Africa. Malawi is landlocked and there most of our shipments a combination of ocean and rail/road as well as a few ocean transhipment ports upto Port of Discharge. \r\n\r\nDue to above we have several service providers each with their own costs. Thereafter depending on shipment terms our sales invoices are generated and invoiced out to relevant party.\r\n\r\nWe have budgeted/expected costs as well as actual costs. All actual costs should not be payable unless budgeted cost is included in system. The actual costs moust not be higher than budgeted costs. Unless authorized and entered by supervisor after inputting the expected cost for same as well.\r\n\r\nWe are considering to develop software to cater for up shipment costing and to check budget shipments costs against actual paid. Thereafter at the end of the period too enable us secure various reports for shipment profitability by client, by route etc.\r\n\r\nAny costs or sales invoices not raised to be accrued and thee report to advise profitability based on the accruals made.\r\n\r\nThe report to be generated based on date a shipment is invoiced out or first costs for shipment invoiced out.\r\n\r\nWe were interested reading the module available by yourselves and would like to receive more information as well as a demo.\r\n
