I am using the NI myRIO and I have connected on it a USB camera with wide angle lens. Through labview I can capture the sky. I order to find the brightest area in the picture I know that, I have to convert the picture in grayscale and then smoothing it through a low pass filter. I have done until this part since now then it remains the brightest area and the average point of it.
